He is talking to a few panelists about the border security. A sheriff in Arizona wants to see tough rules on illegal immigrations. He wants to see tough laws and keep illegals out. Most of the talk, in Arizona and the rest of the country is about being “not offending” certain groups. Most Ohions consider illegal immigration as a serious issue. Yet in Texas, only 15% consider it an important issue.
Erica Hill just showed some statistics about the divide on how Democrats in Texas view illegal immigration issue and how Republicans view illegal immigration. Almost 70% Democrats in exit polls say they want to see a “path to citizenship.” Over 30% of Republicans want to see immediate deportation of illegals here already. There was more stats. But they were going to fast for me to pick up on. These are what they were highlighting on the show.
Glenn is going to Stu, his producer from his radio show. Stu is live blogging. They are talking about John McCain. On Glenn Beck’s website there was a poll about how conservatives feel about John McCain. 56% hold nose and vote for McCain. 23% vote third party. Glenn is warming to John McCain. The more he learns about Barack Obama, the more he likes McCain. Glenn is taking a break from his show. He will be back on 9pm on CNN Headline news. I am taking a break ’til then and let my First District friends and Saul Anuzis take over now. Perhaps the 9pm show will talk more about the Republicans. I thought I heard that Karl Rove will be on the episode. I could be wrong.

  1. Bob Says:

Speaking of illegal immigration, millions of Americans will celebrate Cinco de Mayo (May 5) without really knowing what they’re celebrating. If, however, they knew the background of the holiday, I think many Americans might opt out of celebrating it.
