Check This Out!

I just found a new website at EXPOSEOBAMA.COM and wanted to share this site with you. I have not had an opportunity to read every link and article on the site yet but what I have read has not been discussed in the “Main Street Media”.

Here are two things from this site for your review:

The Shepard’s Crook of Christianity

The Shepard’s Crook of Christianity
Ebola is to humans what Black Liberation Theology is to the church.

Ebola was popularized in the movie “Outbreak” and the book, “Hot Zone.” The virus is what they call a Level 4 pathogen that causes severe hemorrhaging and rapid death through the massive destruction of the liver. But, unfortunately, for those in favor of reducing the number of people on the planet, it also kills animals. The strains of the virus have eerie sounding names – Ebola Zaire, Ebola Sudan, Ebola Reston, Ebola Tai and Marburg.

Amazingly, the Ebola virus under an electron microscope looks a little like a sheep herder’s staff, hence the name, “Shepard’s Crook.” If it happens to show up in your blood, or in that of your pet monkey, there is a nine out of 10 chance of death.

Black Liberation Theology (BLT) is the Shepard’s Crook of Christianity and one of its prophets is Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Without one of his flock running for President of the United States, Wright’s message would probably not have hit front page news. But since Obama, unifying-man-for-all-seasons and candidate-for-Hope-and-Change, is running for the top job it only makes sense that all of his background examined. Ooops. Bad timing for him, Wright, and BLT.

Obama is now in triage, a political casualty of Wright’s BLT-inspired raving rants.

Glenn Beck interviewed former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell on March 20, 2008. Blackwell, a black man, said, “The proponents of liberation theology like Reverend Wright say that God commands us to form government that will supervise our economy to create government subsidized jobs under central government planning, guaranteed healthcare and education by having government control both.”

In other words, liberation theology is socialism wrapped in Christianity. BLT’s contribution to the gift is a racial ribbon and bow.

BLT consists of 12 primary points and a few sub-points. They are available for review on the Trinity United Church of Christ (Chicago) website. According to TUCC, “These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered.”

Most have explanations following them and, unfortunately, the explanation sometimes makes the palatable much less, and the less than palatable much worse. An example is the first one, “Commitment to God.” Normally, I would applaud anyone urging this affirmation. But, when the explanation includes racially charged words like, “Black Christian Activists,” and “soldiers for Black freedom,” I am less inclined.

1. Commitment to God.
2. Commitment to the Black Community.
3. Commitment to the Black Family.
4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education.
5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence.
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic.
7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect.
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness.”
9. Pledge to Make the Fruits of All Developing and Acquired Skills Available to the Black Community.
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions.
11. Pledge Allegiance to All Black Leadership Who Espouse and Embrace the Black Value System.
12. Personal Commitment to Embracement of the Black Value System.

A Find and Replace of “Black” for “White” illustrates how abhorrent the principals actually are – Imagine if your local AG, Presbyterian or Baptist church had a value system kicking off with Commitment to God and the White Community. Meanwhile, a Find and Delete of “Black,” with some minor grammatical edits, illustrates how noble they could be. (The exception that you can’t put a positive spin on is the disavowal of “Middleclassness,” which is a tone ringing similar to, “Revolution of the Proletariat.”)

With this as a value system, it is no wonder Wright has said the things he has, while what is to be wondered is how much Obama actually believes.

There is some good news though. Blackwell, in the same interview with Glenn Beck, also observed that Obama’s home church does not express the “dominant view” of the African-American Christian community.

For Obama it isn’t so much that he attended Wright’s church, but that he remained there for so long. He was recruited there, indoctrinated there, got married there, saw his children baptized there, has stayed there for 20 years, and apparently is planning on staying for that much longer. The disconcerting explanations for his sojourn might be that either Obama had BLT before he arrived, or that Wright’s message was the means for infection. In either case not many incubators could culture BLT better than TUCC.

There is another possibility. Senator Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., may be the one in 10 that is immune. If he ends up as President let’s hope so.

What is Free Speech?

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

I posted this over at Grizzly Groundswell and thought I should share this with my fellow First Districters. It is not First District related, but it is about Free Speech and I think free speech is interest of everyone.

This is a question I have been asking myself in the past few weeks to a month. Most of my life I have heard about “freedom of speech.” I never really knew what this was. I had always been led to believe this was some sort of liberal rhetoric. But only recently have I figured out that this is the complete opposite. The liberals do believe in freedom of speech, only when it suits their needs. They don’t want to hear anything that doesn’t jive with their agendas.

A few case in points could be alleged “hate crimes.” They have no problem with gay day parades, where people dress up in all kinds of funny outfits and degrading Jesus and Christianity. But if pastors, priests or rabbis speak out against homosexuality, it is a “hate crime” even when they are reciting from religious books. Then of course you have the alleged “Fairness Doctrine” where they want to regulate what is broadcast on the radio. When Conservatives and Christians speak out about Islam and/or Islamic terrorism the libs accuse them of Islamophobia.

Since I started blogging this was a thought that was in the back of my mind, but I never really payed much attention to it. I started out blogging about the presidential election and not much about free speech issues. Most of my current information I get is from conservative sources, whether that be online news or other blogs, or talk radio. Usually when I have the TV on it is for background noise.

When I was blogging the ‘08 race bloggers who would be for a specific candidate would get upset if someone from an online news source would say something negative about their candidate and not only would they refuse to read that persons writings, but also boycott the entire news page. They would feel the same way about a well known person from TV or religion. They would rally people to write in to these people and tell them to not say anything bad about their candidate. I have nothing against supporters getting upset about someone saying anything bad about their candidate. I understand where they are coming from. At the same time, I have learned to just let it roll, like water off a ducks back.

When I hear or read something said by someone who I normally read or listen to say something I don’t agree with I just figure that that is that person’s opinion. I get scared of people who agree with everything a certain personality says. Many libs out there say that all Conservatives and Republicans blindly follow Rush Limbaugh. They claim that we allow Rush to do our thinking. There may be some people out there who do that. But they are idiots. Most people who listen to Rush already have their own beliefs before listening to him. They might get some of their info from Rush, but they don’t let him think for them. I for one listen to Rush and others, Glenn Beck is my fave. When I hear something I did not know from these guys, I research more about the issue discussed, if it peaks my interest. After finding out about the issue, I then form my own opinion. Most times I find myself agreeing, but not always. Most Conservatives I know are like this.

The reason for this post is that about very early morning on that transition between Monday night and Tuesday morning I had found a quick snippet from Radio Praha Online, an online Czech news service. The snippet was about the National Party in the Czech Republic is offering to show Geert Wilders fifteen minute film about Islam and the Koran.

In case you have not been following, Geert Wilders is a member of the Dutch parliament who produced a documentary claiming that Islam and the Koran is fascist. No other details about the film has been released. But everyone is afraid to allow him to show the film. Dutch officials are afraid it could spark violence, so he will not be able to show it in theaters. He was going to show it on a website, but the server has banned him from showing it. He has received many death threats. I had posted about recent protests in Amsterdam, Holland on Michigan Redneck II.

On Glenn Beck’s Tuesday program he talked to Brad Thor, author of “The Last Patriot,” about the server Network Solutions that pulled Mr. Wilders’ ad announcing the movie, Fitna. Glenn offered to show the movie on his show. In the Czech article I mentioned above the Czech National Party believes that this is a film that all Europeans need to see. That is why they offering to show Mr. Wilders’ film on their website, plus offer him asylum in an undisclosed area in the Czech Republic. I am proud of the National Party. It shows that not all Europeans are flaming liberals. Plus, while my loyalties are to the U.S., I consider Czechs my European cousins, as I have ancestry there.

When I posted about the protests I received a comment from a blogger that was for the protests. This person didn’t say anything except for leaving a link to his post on this issue. I checked out his post. He and others are calling Mr. Wilders a Nazi and facist. On his post he had images that were negative against Mr. Wilders. Since he was not calling for violence, I did allow his comment to post. Like I said I believe in free speech. I believe that everyone has the right to speak about what is on their mind, regardless if I agree with what they say or if it is even wrong.

My thoughts on the protesting and calling for bans on the film are that if these people have the right to protest and say what they think, then Mr. Wilders has the right to show his film. For those who are upset, they need to wait for the film to come out. If what he says about Islam is wrong, then the Muslims can point out what he said is wrong and show proof. The truth will prevail. If it is all a lie, what is the problem. Possibly the protesters are afraid that he will reveal truths that they won’t like.

For Dutch officials to not allow him to show the movie in theaters is fear. They should not allow this fear to dictate. I understand their fear, but when one lets fear not take you forward that’s when society goes backward. When the good people cower in fear, the bad people take over. That’s when things will get really bad. Europeans, and everyone the world over, need to stand up for what is right. We need to show the bad people that we will not allow them to dictate what we do or say.

I have talked about free speech and will continue to, be it in support of Geert Wilders, support of the Danish cartoons or support of Tibet.

While the issue of Geert Wilders’ film that inspired me to right about free speech and it is “something that is far away” that kind of thinking reminds me of the post World War II poem;

First They Came for the Jews

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

Global Warming…the “inconvenient truth”

Thursday, March 20th, 2008

Saul Anuzis, Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party posted these two videos on his Blog That’s Saul Folks

Global Warming…the “inconvenient truth”

Here is another media clip for your review.

You will not read or see this information on the Main Street Media Outlets because it does not align with Al Gore’s “doomsday rhetoric”

Glenn Beck/Second Hour-Hope

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

He is talking about “hope, and how Barack is talking about how he hasmade it on his own yet he tells peole to vote for him and the government will help them.
This has really been fun doing the live blogging thing and blogging about Glenn Beck. The Glenn Beck show is now over. I am going to cool down. I may come back here to blog a bit more. I have some posts that I will be putting on Michigan Redneck II (where I will be little more no-holds barred), also I will check out what Mr. Anuzis, Joel and John have posted and hat tip them some. I hope you were watching Glenn Beck with me. Or at least had fun checking in on my blogging along, with my friends blogging here tonight. I am sure I made many grammatical mistakes. I hope you laughed with me, not at me. That’s the thing with live blogging. It is a little of punching the keys fast and hitting the publish button without much proof reading. For right now, I am going to sit back and take it all in.

Glenn Beck/Second Hour

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

Glenn Beck is back with the Richmond mayor. Glenn is saying that he hopes Barack Obama doesn’t use the race card. He doesn’t want to see this race about race. He gets upset when people call him a racist about the border issue. He said he wants to see the Southern AND Northern borders secure, so he must hate “those white Canadians.” They are talking about Michelle Obama and some of her dumb comments, regarding “paying off college loans.” Glenn says she should be proud of her education and not complain.
Split screen shows John McCain talking.

Glenn Beck/Second Hour

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

Glenn Beck just anounced that Mike Huckabee is officially out. The panel is talking about reasons that Mike Huckabee may have stayed in. Could be he wanted at least one more delegate than Mitt Romney. One lady on the panel said it could be that he was getting name recognition for book sales. Glenn said it could be that he genuinely wanted to be president. One gentleman said maybe it was that Mike Huckabee wants to get a good speaking slot at the RNC convention. All those on the panel said they thought he was genuine. He had ideas that may not have been popular with Republicans, but said what he thought. I met Mike Huckabee twice. And I have to say I agree with the genuine thing. I ended up not agreeing with him. But he was genuine. Glenn was talking about the “inline” thing in the Republican Party. And said that Mitt Romney bowing out when he did, put him in the right place in the “line.”
The panel is talking. On the split screen, it looks like Mike Huckabee is speaking.
The panel is talking about what John McCain can do to win over conservatives. One panelist just said it will have to be about security. One lady says it will be about judges.
Now they are talking about possible running mates. South Governor Sanford, is one name that was mentioned.
Rhode Island has called for McCain and Clinton.
Independents in Texas voting on Republicans; McCain 44% 28 17
Kinky Friedman is on. Glenn is asking about Obama. Mr. Friedman is talking about rednecks in Texas. They didn’t have much of a choice for Democrats. They are talking about the two party system and frustrations. Oh no he didn’t. Mr. Friedman is talking about “who would Jesus deport?”…”Half of them in Texas are named Jesus.” He said it, not me. I used to live in Texas. When Kinky was running for governor as an independent. I was kinda following him. I was almost wishing I still lived there, just to vote for him. Ya can say what ya want about the old fool, but ya gotta agree, he is one interesting character. They are talking about Obama supporters and the fainting and screaming. Scares Glenn. Glenn has not talked to one supporter of Barack who can tell one substantial reason why they support Barack.

Glenn Beck/Second Hour

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

Glenn made an oopsie. What is up with this Latinos vote and black vote? 89% blacks are going for Barack. 11% for Hillary. That does not sound like mere stats. Sounds more like “identity politics.” For the Republicans 49% Latinos are going for Huckabee. 41% are going for John McCain.
The panel is talking about the Rezko deals. Glenn is talking with the mayor of Richmond, VA, Douglas Wilder. Mr. Wilder is a Dem, but Glenn says he likes him. They are talking about Louis Farrakhan’s support of Barack. Both men are talking about “hit peice” politics.
On the TV screen it says that Mike Huckabee will withdrawl tonight.

Glenn Beck/Second Hour

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

Now his panel from the first is back on. They are talking about Florida and Michigan. I had computer probs. So I will try to catch up. Hillary is blaming the Michigan and Florida issue on Republicans. Can you believe the nerve? They are talking about how it still looks like there is going to be a long fight for Hill and Bar. They were talking about how Rush Limbaugh is urging Republicans to vote for Hill. Rush wants to see a big fight. Hey could blame him? Unfortunately, there isn’t as much fun on the Republican side. I have heard about Rush’s reasons. The longer Hill and Bar are in this, the more money they, their donors and the DNC spends. Plus, the longer it takes to get nom for the Dems, the less time they have to gather for a general election.

Glenn Beck/Second Hour

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

Hi everyone, I am back on, watching Glenn Beck. He doesn’t think Hillary will leave the race, even if she doesn’t win one state tonight. Looks like John McCain will be getting more than his needed delegates. Now it’s rumored that Mike Huckabee will be making his consession speech within the hour. If so, Glenn says he will air it live.

Glenn Beck/ Border Security

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

He is talking to a few panelists about the border security. A sheriff in Arizona wants to see tough rules on illegal immigrations. He wants to see tough laws and keep illegals out. Most of the talk, in Arizona and the rest of the country is about being “not offending” certain groups. Most Ohions consider illegal immigration as a serious issue. Yet in Texas, only 15% consider it an important issue.
Erica Hill just showed some statistics about the divide on how Democrats in Texas view illegal immigration issue and how Republicans view illegal immigration. Almost 70% Democrats in exit polls say they want to see a “path to citizenship.” Over 30% of Republicans want to see immediate deportation of illegals here already. There was more stats. But they were going to fast for me to pick up on. These are what they were highlighting on the show.
Glenn is going to Stu, his producer from his radio show. Stu is live blogging. They are talking about John McCain. On Glenn Beck’s website there was a poll about how conservatives feel about John McCain. 56% hold nose and vote for McCain. 23% vote third party. Glenn is warming to John McCain. The more he learns about Barack Obama, the more he likes McCain. Glenn is taking a break from his show. He will be back on 9pm on CNN Headline news. I am taking a break ’til then and let my First District friends and Saul Anuzis take over now. Perhaps the 9pm show will talk more about the Republicans. I thought I heard that Karl Rove will be on the episode. I could be wrong.
