BARAGA COUNTY — The Meet and Greet that was held in L’Anse at the L’Anse American Legion, was a huge success with over 70 area citizens who attended.  Both Federal and Local Candidates attended this candidate forum.

State Representative Tom Casperson brought along  Jim Howell who is running for court of appeals which is a NON PARTISAN position.

WLUCTV6 and WKPB were both able to make it to the event.

The Local Candidates which all attended were:

Anne Koski (D) running for Baraga County Treasurer  — INCUMBENT

Jill Tollefson (D) running for Baraga County Treasurer

Keith Almli (R) running for Baraga County Commissioner District #5 & Precinct Delegate

Nick Lindemann (R) running for Baraga County Commissioner #2

Michael R Koskinen (D) running for Baraga County Commissioner #2  — INCUMBENT

Wendy Goodreau (R) running for Baraga County CLERK/DEEDS  — INCUMBENT

Joseph O’Leary (R) running for Baraga County Prosecuting Attorney — INCUMBENT

Mike Legacy (R) running for Baraga County Mine Inspector

Donald Carlson (D) running for Baraga County Mine Inspector

Dale Tembreull (D) running for Baraga County SUPERVISOR (INCUMBENT)

John Drennan (R) running for Baraga TWP Precinct Delegate
